Jackie Evancho and Peter Hollens Sing ‘Hallelujah,’ and It’s Heavenly

Jackie Evancho and Peter Hollens sing a stunningly beautiful a capella version of the Leonard Cohen classic Hallelujah, a song that has been recorded over 200 times.

It’s truly amazing that the two artists didn’t actually come together to do this collaboration.

Evancho, who is only 14 years old and was a former contestant on America’s Got Talent, recorded her vocals in Pennsylvania, where she lives, while Hollens, who records for Sony Music, recorded his vocals in Oregon.

The two vocal tracks were then digitally combined to create this hauntingly beautiful cover.

The completed track is featured on Peter Hollens’ debut self-titled album, along with several other collaborations with such artists as Brian Wilson and Sabrina Carpenter.

If you have never seen or heard Jackie Evancho sing, watch this video of her performing on America’s Got Talent when she was only 10 years old. You won’t believe such an incredible voice could pour out of such a young girl… it truly is heavenly.
