Police in Fujian Province have reported the death of a 2-year-old girl in Shenzhen after she was left in a hot car for 12 hours.
Named Xiaohuan, the child was asleep in the back seat when her aunt and uncle brought her home with her cousin. The aunt took out her daughter, and told her husband to get the other girl. However, he apparently thought she had taken both girls, and locked the car up before going to bed.
The family only realized what had happened when they found the dead girl the next day.
