Magical ‘Morning Glory’ Clouds Roll Into North Australia (Video)

Reports are coming in that an extremely rare, banded cloud formation is arriving in Queensland’s Gulf of Carpentaria.

These incredible, cylindrical clouds can be as long as 600 miles, and move at up to 40 miles per hour, making them a popular surfing ground for hang gliders.

They’re caused by three things: a temperature drop, a pressure spike, and strong ocean breezes.
