As the conflict in eastern Ukraine remains far from resolved, the population will vote this Sunday to elect a new parliament.
Over 3,000 people have been killed in the war that has been ongoing, despite a ceasefire, in the country’s east reports the BBC.
Ukraine’s economy is also collapsing.
Going by the polls it’s interesting to note that none of the extremist parties that are hyped up in the Russian media are scoring well.
