Troubled Ukraine to Elect New Parliament (Video)

As the conflict in eastern Ukraine remains far from resolved, the population will vote this Sunday to elect a new parliament.

Over 3,000 people have been killed in the war that has been ongoing, despite a ceasefire, in the country’s east reports the BBC.

Ukraine’s economy is also collapsing.

In the 16 minute report above, BBC’s Steve Rosenberg journeys across the country speaking with Ukrainians about the election and the crisis that is hobbling their country.
