Smog in China can damage people’s health both in the long-term, and the short-term.

A truck smashed into a train late at night on Nov. 27 in Baoding, Hebei province, leaving the truck driver’s legs were badly broken.

The third carriage of the train derailed, rolled over, and was completely destroyed.

It was foggy with heavy smog and poor visibility when the collision happened, according to Sina News.

The driver didn’t see there was a train crossing at the intersection, and didn’t slow down. His truck was also significantly overloaded.
