Did You Know the World’s Longest Railway Just Linked China With Spain?

A freight train service was launched between China and Spain in mid-November to lower transport costs for Chinese manufacturers.

The Yixinou train runs from Yiwu near Shanghai to Madrid via six other countries including Russia, Poland, and Germany, taking 21 days to complete its journey.

With 82 wagons, and covering over 8,000 miles, the train has to change at three points to shift onto different wagons due to the varied track gauges.
