Many older people have large ears and long earlobes. According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), large ears mean strong kidneys, and longer earlobes represent a healthy mind. According to research, our ears are growing all the time, gaining in length an average of one-sixteenth to one-eighth of an inch every 10 years. From this point of view, it is not that larger ears bring about longevity, but the other way around.

Massaging the ears for 10 minutes every day is definitely beneficial to the internal organs and the blood circulation of the entire body. When the blood flow is smooth, the pain will be less. Let us learn together.

The whole-ear massage method

Rub your palms together until they are warm, then block your ears with your palms. Hold tight and then suddenly release your palms. You will hear a loud sound, just like a drum beat. Repeating 15 to 30 times a day is said to improve your hearing.

Put the warm palms on your ears and gently tap the back of your head. Repeat 15 to 30 times if you have tinnitus.

Massage the outer edge of the ears

Massage your earlobes to keep the brain active. Put the index finger and middle finger together and then into the ear cavity. Use the thumb behind the back of the earlobe to massage the ears 50 times clockwise and 50 times counterclockwise. At the end, pull down the earlobe once or twice.

Pull the ears, put the index fingers into the ear cavities, and turn the index fingers 180°.

After 3 rotations, pulling the index fingers out quickly will produce a loud noise inside the ears.

Doing this can promote hearing sensitivity and brain power.

Rub the outer edge of the ears to keep limbs strong

The points on the outer edge of the auricle mainly correspond to the limbs of the body. Generally, a person with strong and agile limbs has a relatively large outer edge of the auricle; those with thin limbs have a relatively narrow outer edge. Long-term massaging of the outer edge of the auricle can make the limbs strong.

Use the thumb and the index finger to clamp the outer edge of the ear and massage back and forth 100 times a day.

Massage the pressure-lowering ditch

There is a ditch on the back of the ear called the pressure-lowering ditch, which corresponds to the spine of the human body. Massaging the back of the ear is equivalent to the chiropractic manipulation of the spine, which can regulate the blood flow of the whole body.

Put the index finger and the middle finger into an ear socket, and use the thumb to massage the ditch from the top to the bottom, massaging 100 times a day.

Rub the whole ear, double the effect

Rub the palms of your hands together, rub them 50 times on the front and the back of your ears, and then rub them up and down 50 times.

After the action is completed, if your ears feel hot, your body is warm, and the hands are slightly sweaty, this indicates that the effect has been achieved, and the blood, meridians, and organs of your entire body have been cleaned.
