The unique concept of this printer has raised well over $800,000 since it was launched on the website Kickstarter. on Nov. 11.
It was designed by National Taiwan University students, and can currently create three-dimensional plastic items.
In future it’ll be able to print ceramics, and even chocolate and cake.
Artistic director ShangFeng Jiang said: “The most unique part is its function headers. You can put a nozzle header into a laser print header within five minutes.”
By simply changing the modules, the device can have multiple functions like printing, scanning, and cutting.
