Li Qiang, premier of Communist China, talked up Beijing’s readiness to deepen Belt and Road cooperation with Egypt across sectors such as trade, finance, manufacturing, new energy, technology, and cultural exchange.
Speaking at a meeting on Thursday, July 10 with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Li also conveyed greetings from Chinese leader Xi Jinping and stressed a strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Li highlighted the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) intention to encourage more of its companies to invest in Egypt and proposed using next year’s 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Beijing and Cairo as a chance to reinforce political trust and mutual support on core national interests.

He also reaffirmed the PRC’s commitment “to continue to enrich the China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership,” and building a China-Egypt community with a shared future, as reported by CCTV, the communist regime’s state broadcaster.
“Community with a shared future” is a central part of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) international vision, whereby it seeks to replace the U.S.-led “rules-based international order.”

Li noted the ongoing instability in West Asia and North Africa and called for closer communication with Egypt to seek a ceasefire in Gaza.
President Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to Beijing’s “one-China principle,” according to which the democratically governed island state of Taiwan is considered rightfully a part of Communist China.
